Record Tab - Overview

Once you've either created a new project using the New Project Wizard or opened an existing project the main MC-100 Operator Console window will open and you will be on the Record Tab.   This is the first step in the workflow process for creating a presentation.  The following key areas of the window and functions are described in the next several pages:

Current Presentation List - This drop down indicates the current working presentation.  Within an MC-100 Project you will always be working in the context of a presentation.  For example, clicking the Record button will capture video and associate that video with the current selected.presentation.

Presentation Button - This button provide several options for managing presentations.   You may add new presentations, delete existing ones or edit the current presentation using this button.

Presentation Status Area - This area provides status information for the current presentation.

Recording Controls - Allows you to Record, Pause Recording, or Stop the capture of video for the current presentation.

Video Input - Shows a preview of the current attached video device.

Image Input - Shows a preview of the current VGA/Image source that is connected to the MC-100.

Recorded Video - Once recording of video begins, the captured video output will display here.

Audio Input Bars - Provides an visual indicator as to whether an audio signal from an attached microphone is being detected.  You will want to ensure that both vertical bars move up when as audio is spoken.  If both are bars remain at the near the bottom, then no audio signal is being detected.  Audio input bars will provide audio signal indication whether the a presentation is being recorded or not.

Captured Image - This area displayed the current captured image from the attached VGA/Image source.

Auto Capture Option - Checking this option will enable the MC-100 image auto-capture feature, which automatically detects new image changes from the attached VGA/Image device, then captures and synchronizes that image with the captured video.
