The MC-100 Main Window provides a set of tools for monitoring the inputs and outputs of a captured presentation. There are 3 media device inputs that are captured by the MC-100: 1. Video Source (typically an attached Video camera) 2. Audio Source (typically an attached Microphone) 3. Image Source (RGB input source - typically a computer/laptop displaying PowerPoint, graphics, or other content)
The MC-100 Monitoring Tools allow an operator to monitor the device inputs before recording as well as during the recording of a presentation.
Monitoring Before Recording
An operator should ensure that all of the device inputs are working properly before clicking the Record button. This can be verified by ensuring the Video Input, Image Input and Audio meter Montioring Tools are properly detecting input:
Step 1: Verify Video Input by ensuring a video image is displayed.
Step 2: Verify Image Input by ensuring an image from presenter's presentation is displayed.
Step 3: Verify Audio input by ensuring that the 2 bars move up and down as audio is spoken.
Once you have verified Video, Image, and Audio inputs are working properly you can click the Record button to begin capturing the presentation.
Monitoring During Recording
To ensure Video, Image, and Audio is properly being recorded while capturing a presentation you need to ensure Recorded Video, Captured Image and Audio meter Montioring Tools are properly functioning:
Step 1: Click the Record button
Step 2: Verify the Recorded Video area changes from Ready to Record to match the Video Input area thus ensuring video is being recorded.
Step 3: Verify the Captured Image area changes from Ready to Record to match the Image Input area thus ensuring the presenter's slides are being captured.
Step 4: Verify the Audio meter's bars continuing moving up/down.
