Inserting a New Slide

Once a presentation has been captured you may insert additional slides into various points in the presentation and synchronize them with the main video.

 

To insert a New Slide into a presentation:

 

1.   Click the Insert Slide button insertinganewslideb1 to the right of the slide thumbnails area.  See below:

 

 

 

 

2.   This will open the Add Slide window:

3.   Enter the information in each of the text boxes on the left side of the screen.  You may fill out the following fields:

Title

This text will display the indexed Title in the table of contents for the published presentation

Slide Text

This text will be searchable and included in the word frequency list

Transcript

This text will be searchable and synchronized to this slide

Timepoint

This is the time this slide will appear during the video timeline

4.   Insert a new slide image by clicking the Add Slide button.  Browse to an image file and Click Open

5.   This will display the new Slide in the slide preview area

6.   Click Save and Close when complete

7.   The newly inserted slide will show up in the Slide Thumbnails area, at the Timepoint specified

 

 

 

 

insertinganewslideb6Note:  The inserting of a New Slide does not affect the video file of the presentation.  A new slide is merely inserted at that specified timepoint and will display its image in synch when the video reaches that point in the presentation.
